"Banchetto Musicale" was established in 1986 by the early music enthusiast Jurate Mikiskaite-Viciene. It was the first early music group in Lithuania. Since then the members of the group are recreating dances and music from XV up to XVII c., but they are also thinking about the later centuries.
At this moment Jurate Mikiskaite-Viciene is the art director of the group, Virginija Gaudiesiute is the leader of the dance group. The group had many concerts not only in Lithuania, but also abroad - in Latvia, Estonia, Russia (St.Petersburg), Norway and Finland.
