Axel Röhrborn ist seit über 40 Jahren Leiter für Kontratänze im Anglo-Stil und machte seinen ersten „Schein“ im Britischen Offiziersclub Berlin noch zu Zeiten der Besatzungs-Zonen. Es folgte Kontratanz-Ausbildung bei renommierten Lehrern und Choreografen. Er leitet im Kulturverein Erlanger Tanzhaus die „Plattform historische und moderne Kontratänze“.
